  1.    The Communications item controls the communications settings that Term-Plus¬© uses. Always use 8 Data Bits, 1 Stop Bit, and No Parity unless you have a compelling reason to change it. The Baud Rate controls the speed with which you communicate. Be sure the baud rate setting and the control on your modem agree.
  2.    The Use Modem Port and Use Printer Port buttons allow you to select which serial port you wish to connect your modem to on your Mac. Do not use the Printer port for baud rates faster than 300 baud.
  3.    The Full and Half Duplex item controls whether Term-Plus¬© automatically displays the characters you type on the screen. The normal setting is Full Duplex.
